List of Rhythm Game Items (F)
To view the Rhythm Game Item List of the PSVita version of the game, see: List of Rhythm Game Items (ƒ).
Items can be bought on the Song Start Screen by selecting リズムゲームアイテム (Rhythm Game Item). Doing so will open a list of the Items which can be instantly bought by paying with your DIVA Points and will be used in the following song. Only one item can be used at a time. These items are only good for one try and will have to be re-bought when you retry. DIVA Points will be subtracted as soon you start the song.
The Rhythm Game Items are divided into Help and Challenge Items. Help Items will make the song easier, while the Challenge Items increase difficulty, but giving you more DIVA Points at the end, also, the price for Challenge Items is different for each difficulty. If an item is used the category will be shown in the lower right of the HUD, above the Completion Gauge, during the song, and below the difficulty on the result screen. A small green heart will be displayed next to the rank on the Song Record when a song was cleared with a Help Item, there is no icon for Challenge Items.
If なし (None) is selected when the song is started, no item will take effect and no DIVA Points will be used, even if the player selected another item before.
In the table below, the prices for different difficulties are represented with E (Easy), N (Normal), H (Hard) and X (Extreme).
||All SADs and WORSTs/AWFULs are converted into SAFEs, so you will never lose Song Energy. Your final rank will be forced to Cheap and you fail the song.|
||The first 30 SAFEs and SADs/BADs will be converted into FINEs/GOODs to keep your combo going. When you get a WORST or one of the two ratings after the 30 conversions ran out, the item will have no effect. No effect on the final rank.|
||If your Song Energy reaches zero, the Life Gauge will fully regenerate only once. No effect on the final rank.|
||All Button Targets are changed into Circle Targets. This item has no effect on Scratch Targets. Your final rank will be forced to Cheap and you fail the song. (This item is useless for almost all songs in Easy difficulty.)|
||All Double Targets are changed to Single Button Targets, so they can be hit by just pressing one of either the D-Pad or the Button instead of both. Your final rank will be forced to Standard or lower.|
||Lets you hit Star notes with the L1, R1, L2, or R2 trigger buttons. Disables the analog stick. No effect on final rank (will still show help heart on song select screen).|
||Targets appear a quarter measure before they need to be hit instead of a full measure. You'll receive double DIVA Points at the end.|
||COOLs and FINEs/GOODs will not add or regenerate Song Energy. You'll receive double DIVA Points at the end.|
||Same as Survivor, but you start with 25% of your Song Energy instead of 50%. You'll receive triple DIVA Points at the end.|
||FINEs/GOODs and SAFEs will drain the Song Energy, only COOLs regenerate it. FINEs will still continue your combo, fill the Completition Gauge, count towards the Star Gauge and are still a valid rating for the Big Star Note to succeed Chance Time. You receive quadruple DIVA Points at the end.|
