Unlocking the DIVA Rooms
- Only Miku's room will be available at the start. You will need to unlock the other five rooms by clearing songs on NORMAL(you will not be able to unlock the rooms by clearing on EASY).
- Rin - メランコリック (Melancholic)

- Luka - DYE
- KAITO - ACUTE
- MEIKO - Stay with me
- EXTRA - This room will be unlocked and visible after you purchased and downloaded the Haku, Neru and Teto Module DLC pack.
Touch Communication
- Tap on the Vocaloid to enter touch communication mode. On this screen, you can directly interact with them.
- All interaction is done by touch. You may touch the Vocaloid directly, the empty space around their head, or the back touch panel to cause different reactions (see table below).
- Success here may cause the Vocaloid to challenge you to a minigame (see below).
- There is a limit to how much you can raise a Vocaloid's affection level each time. When the timer resets, there will be a bubble icon with the touch symbol pointing at the Vocaloid, while you are in the DIVA room.
- Repeating interactions that make the Vocaloid unhappy will cause the Vocaloid to become angry and eventually stop the touch communication forcefully.
- When this happens, you have to leave the DIVA room for a short while before the Vocaloid will calm down and return to normal.

Made You Look! / Acchi Muite Hoi! (Minigame)
- After 3 successful touch communications, there is a very high chance that the Vocaloid will challenge you to a game of あっちむいてホイ！ (Made You Look! / Acchi Muite Hoi!)
- All 3 communications must raise affection, so if you have hit the current cap, wait until the timer resets.
- Playing this minigame will further raise the Vocaloid's affection (regardless of win or loss). Turning down the challenge will not cause affection to decrease.
- If you want to save time, you can succeed at 2 touch communications, end touch communication mode, and repeat.
- The winner of this minigame is whoever gets to 3 points first, and can be repeated infinite times once you have accepted the challenge (though the affection increases only once).
- This minigame consists of two parts per round:
- The first part is a classic Rock-Paper-Scissors game - the Vocaloid counts down with じゃんけんぽん (jan-ken-pon), or あいこでしょう (ai-ko de-shou, "isn't that a tie") in case the previous throw was a tie.
- Once the player and the Vocaloid show different signs, the second part begins, as the Vocaloid counts down again, this time with あっちむいてホイ (acchi-muite-hoi, "hey, look over here").
- The winner of the first part has to point to a direction, which can be up, down, left or right. At the same moment, the loser looks into one of these directions. If the winner's finger and the loser's head point into different directions, the round is declared a draw, but if both are the same direction, the winner gets a point. In both cases, the next round is restarted from the first part.
Controls
- Note that you actually have infinite time to input your commands, and the Vocaloid will wait for you.
- Part 1, Rock-Paper-Scissors: Choose a sign by touching it on the screen or hitting the button shown below the icon.
- Part 2 as Winner: Swipe in one of the displayed directions to choose it. You can also use the D-Pad.
- Part 2 as Loser: Turn the Vita into the direction you want to choose. You can also use the D-Pad.
Affection
- The affection level goes from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 6/MAX (at MAX level, it will be displayed as a crown).
- The affection gauge per level goes from 0 to 10. If it goes negative, the affection level will be reduced by one; if it gets to 11 or higher, the level will be raised by one.
- Affection can be raised by successful touch communications, playing the "Made You Look! / Acchi Muite Hoi!" minigame, watching item events (see below), or giving presents to the Vocaloid (further below).
- Level 2 - Papercraft (room item)
- Level 3 - Poster (room item)
- Level 4 - Figurine (room item)
- Level 5 - Premium Poster (room item)
- Level MAX - Birthday cake (presents)
- Rin's & Len's birthday cake (shared) will be unlocked when Rin's affection reaches MAX level. Raising Len's affection to MAX level will unlock a different set of posters for each Vocaloid instead.
- Raising the affection level to MAX will unlock titles and trophies for each Vocaloid.
- Lowering the affection level will not cause items unlocked in the shop to disappear from the shop catalog.
- Haku, Neru and Teto don't have affection levels. You can interact with them but nothing will happen. "Made You Look! / Acchi Muite Hoi!" is available for EXTRA characters.
Event Collection
- There are a total of 79 events.
- Some of the events are limited to specific Vocaloids.
- There are two main ways to watch events, by activating room items after placing them in the room (via item event on the DIVA room menu), or by giving presents to the Vocaloid (see below).
- Room items with events tied to them will display a［ !］mark pointing to them.
- Gadget items will also display this mark but activating them will start the gadget instead.
- Room items with events tied to them will display a［ !］mark pointing to them.
- Events will raise the affection of whichever Vocaloid sees them but this affection increase will only happen once. Even if you activate the same event with another Vocaloid, there will be no affection increase.
- Any item event that you have already watched can randomly happen in any of your DIVA rooms regardless of whether the item is actually present in that room or not.
- You can skip any sequence (opening of the present, guests arriving/leaving, the event itself, etc.) that you have already watched with the ○ button.
- Since you cannot skip sequences you have not watched yet, there is no risk of missing a new event.
- The birthday events are the only events that can happen without activating item events or giving presents, provided conditions are met.

- For events 24-26 (Fortune Box), 53-58 (Calligraphy Paper), and 62-73 (Sketchbook), the resulting event is random so just keep repeating if you want to unlock all variants.
- You can quickly unlock all the birthday events by changing the system time on the PS Vita to match their birthdays:
- Miku - 31 August
- Rin and Len - 27 December
- Luka - 30 January
- KAITO - 17 February
- MEIKO - 5 November
- Player - whatever you set on your DIVA f profile
Presents
- From the DIVA room menu, you can give presents to any of the Vocaloids to increase their affection level.
- The Vocaloid receiving the present can react in one of three ways - happy if they like it, satisfied if they are okay with it, or disappointed if they dislike it.
- The affection level will always rise regardless of the reaction, but it will rise more if the Vocaloid is happy.
- Haku, Neru and Teto don't have affection levels. You can give presents to them but nothing will happen.
