DIVA Happiness Level (Extend)
Character moods are determined by how much attention you give that character. Depending on their mood, they can have different poses. Scroll down to find out. You can lift their moods by game-playing with that character and/or giving them presents in their DIVA Room. You'll be able to tell when characters' moods are down by their body language when you select them in Character Select. Or, when unsure, you can view the Character Mood Viewer (キャラクター機嫌確認) chart through Player Records (プレイレコード) on the Main Menu. The moods of all characters will fall when you fail a song.
You might find if the present suits that character (the nendroid figures suit them perfectly), or it's an expensive item, they will cheer on the spot (and the item will become a room feature). Such items have a bigger impact on mood change. At first when you do not have a characters DIVA room it will appear to be in a good mood. Some characters such as Meiko, Neru, and Haku are easier to cheer up than Luka, Rin, Len and Miku. Miku is mostly always happy as well.
(Note: Giving a character a certain kind of item (i.e. wall item, shelf item) as a feature item and then giving another item of the same kind will replace the previous item and you won't get it back. For example: if Neru already has the telephone as her feature item and you give her a Nendoroid Neru, the Nendoroid Neru will take the place of where the telephone was.)

Character Poses
Depending on their mood, their poses can change.
Hatsune Miku
└ When HAPPY, both hair tails face her left side and her body is slanted more.
When GOOD, hair tails are resting and body is less slanted.
When BAD, she looks dejected with both hands behind her back
Kagamine Rin
└ Rin's poses when GOOD and HAPPY are the same, with both arms beside her hips.
When BAD, she stomps both feet while swinging her arms around.
Kagamine Len
└ Len's poses when GOOD and HAPPY are the same, he puts his left hand to his waist.
When BAD, he has his right hand held up to his forehead.
Megurine Luka
└ When HAPPY or GOOD, she makes a pose similar to a thinking pose.

KAITO
└ When HAPPY, he nods quickly and more frequently.
When GOOD, he nods normally (slower).
When BAD, his entire upper body hangs down from his waist.
MEIKO
└ When HAPPY, she puts her palms to her cheeks and shakes her hip (like she's a bit shy or something).
When GOOD, she puts one arm down, and the other on her waist.
When BAD, she crosses her arms and taps her left foot.
Akita Neru
└ When HAPPY, she laughs with her arms crossed.
When GOOD, she taps her right foot gently with her arms crossed
When BAD, she stomps her right foot violently with her arms crossed.
Yowane Haku
└ When HAPPY, she puts her hands like a bird, and slowly moves her waist.
When GOOD, she puts her palms together and looks forward, but shy.
When BAD, she cradles her head in her hands.
Sakine Meiko
└ When HAPPY, she waves her right hand and looks from left to right and loops.
When BAD, she has both hands raised to her face and shakes her head vigorously.
