Sliders
Slides are special notes that have multiple ways they can be played. You can use the left and right sticks, the shoulder buttons, the touchpad or tilting the controller (if it is enabled.) Slide notes are scored liberally. You need only catch the first part of a slide note to prevent damage.
If you start a long slide note too late, it will charge but end poorly and you receive partial score. If you keep holding a Slide too long, there is no penalty at all, unless you happen to block yourself from playing other slides. Usually there is no way to force a single button input to be interpreted as a slide or vice versa. Miss-inputs will likely cause a MISS, or a BAD/WRONG from an earlier or later command. If you press multiple buttons at the exact same time as you should be playing a lone Slide note, you will be scored a WRONG, as a warning that you clearly are overthinking it, or for example, in the common case that you have changed the custom controls for L2 and R2, you pulled the incorrect shoulder button.
Like melody icons, slide icons will sometimes have multi-press markers.
Slider notes are exclusive to Project Diva Future Tone, Project Diva Future Tone DX, Project Diva Megamix Mega39s, and Project Diva Mega39s+ Megamix+.
