If you choose an MP3 from your memory stick you have to set the BPM and time signature.

This menu lets you choose what sound effect is used when you press a button. Press Square to hear what it sounds like. Press the R shoulder button when done.

Generate a Basic Beat

Choosing the first option lets you skip to the next menu.
Choosing the second option auto-generates a basic beat. It's pretty helpful to figure out the BPM of a song.

Choose a Stage

You can have up to 20 stage transitions during the song.

Choose an Animation

You can have up to 30 different dance moves during the song.
